The main purpose of the Assistant Headteacher - Laurel Park School Business and Industry Centre is to have strategic responsibility for setting up and running our Sixth Form at Laurel Park School. This role is a once-in-a-career opportunity to shape the Business and Industry Centre and establish it as a centre of excellence for vocational and industry-based education. The Assistant Headteacher will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to develop and implement the curriculum, coordinate work-based placements, and oversee the marketing and recruitment of students. Additionally, the Assistant Headteacher will have leadership and management responsibilities, including line management of form tutors and administrative personnel linked to the sixth form.
