See below Job purpose: ● Lead the day-to-day operations of our school's provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, 'Vulnerable Learners,' and Pupil Premium. ● Provide professional guidance to ensure high-quality teaching, effective resource utilization, and improved standards of achievement for SEND pupils. ● Collaborate with colleagues to enhance understanding of the school curriculum's impact on SEND policy, fostering improved teaching and learning school-wide. ● Contribute to promoting and overseeing high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement through inclusive practices for SEND pupils. ● Serve as the school’s Designated Teacher for Looked After (LAC) and Previously Looked After Children (PLAC), actively promoting the educational achievement of these pupils. ● Additionally, play a key role in the School's Designated Safeguarding Team.
