Grange Park Primary School Job Role - Administration Officer Apply by: 9am Monday 3 February 2025 Interviews: 11 February 2025 Salary Scale: SC3 (Actual salary £15241 - £25403 depending on hours worked) Hours: 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week/39 weeks per year (term time + 5 INSET days) Contract Term: Permanent Job Start: ASAP or Spring term An excellent opportunity has arisen at Grange Park Primary School for an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our friendly and welcoming office team. This post will require you to provide front desk cover where needed. The successful candidate will be based in our busy and fast paced office. If you: ● Are reliable, flexible and adaptable ● Work hard and have strong interpersonal and communication skills ● Are dedicated to providing excellent customer service ● Have excellent knowledge of the school’s office procedures to carry out all administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner in order to maintain the effective running of the school office ● Process visitors in line with the Trust’s Safeguarding procedures ● Handle difficult situations with sensitivity and calm, ensuring you are always aware of the safeguarding of our pupils, data protection and the need for confidentiality ● Have a good understanding and the ability to provide the Headteacher with information regarding debts. Chase debts as required. ● Type correspondence and documentation using Google-suite, some of which may be highly confidential. ● Able to use own initiative and prioritise tasks. ● Have or are willing to complete a First Aid at work course ● Oversee organisation of trips, collecting permission forms, sending letters, booking transport, order lunches etc ● Receive incoming mail and email, send external mail, email and texts, receive telephone calls and take messages, promoting the school’s ethos. ● Maintain computerised Schools Management Information System and pupil records so as to enable instant retrieval of information as needed.
